My first photo adventure of the year started with a text from my buddy J over at WNC Photo Tours – with an opportunity to join him on an extremely early morning hike to the top of Roan High Bluff at Carvers Gap in North Carolina. Woefully underdressed for blazing a trail to the top in 2-3 feet of unexpected snow accumulation, we hiked the 2.5 miles to top and were able to catch some gorgeous morning golden hour shots.
